Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished professor of psychology since 1993 and director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is widely acknowledged as the pioneer of modern research of the eyewitness memory of children as well as using children who have been abused to serve as witnesses in court. Prof. Goodman has published extensively she has received grants from numerous sources and been recognized with many international and national prizes. She has worked with various governments and agencies throughout the world regarding policies as well as research on child victims in the legal system. She serves as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center and was previously The Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a fellow in the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Practice and Policy American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 57). Professor. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and also the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policy and Practice.
