Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. Anna Gunn is an American actress. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting during her time at Preparatory School. The late 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons working in Chicago the theatre before moving to film and TV roles. In 1992, Anna landed her first big role as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna appeared in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. It was only in the latter part of 1990 that she took on a role in The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. In 2008, she was picked in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film, and other movies also featured her. Gunn is also a part of the stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama Numbered days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and their eventual break up echoes final years in Walter White's life.
